A large part of this is posing (which America Ferrara has to learn to do better), but I found this electric blue ruched dress to be totally unflattering. And what’s with the belt? Is it made of tortoise shell? Feathers? Regardless, this look does not impress me.
I’m not even going to show all of Teri Hatcher’s dress because it looks like a slutty mother of the bride dress from David’s Bridal. This is horrible! The color, the straps, the sequins, the push up bra… everything. And don’t even get me STARTED on those optical illusion mobile earrings.
I think this woman from Grey’s Anatomy is named Sara Ramirez, and she usually dresses so well. I love how she looks in those new Got Milk? advertisements. Too bad she picked pepto-bismol pink chiffon for the Emmys. And I’m a bit concerned that she has a peep-hole cut-out on her left hip there. What do you think? Is that skin showing through or just more fabric? Either way, it’s got to go!
Now, I think Michelle Pfeiffer is absolutely gorgeous and so this hairdo is particularly sad. I don’t know why, but here she looks just messy. Like she forgot to brush her hair this week, threw on a pair of black suspenders and hitched a ride to the red carpet.
Yuck. Tori Spelling’s afterparty dress looks like a trashy dress from Forever 21. Check out her black nail polish! And what’s with her shiny face? Is this the Tori Spelling wax statue from Madame Tussaud’s???
Worst of all is Paula Abdul. I guess she gets to go to the Emmys because of American Idol??? Anyhow, this dress looks like a wardrobe malfunction. If she’s smart, she’ll say it was.

Cheech, stand up for Sara Ramirez! She was the original Lady of the Lake in Spamalot, a musical theater rock star who crossed over into money-making TV Land even though she’s big n ethnic. That dress may be fugly, but you should still know who she is.

Okay, first of all, I should never read this blog when I have a clay face mask on - I inevitably crack up, and then my face hurts.
Also, Tori Tori Tori, what was she thinking with those black shoes? She didn’t have a pair of metallic sandals at least she could dig out from some part of what must be a fairly massive closet? Maybe she’s dressing like this to make her mom give her more of her father’s estate, just to go out and buy a new outfit.

aw, i liked america ferrera’s dress! i think that color looked really good on her. but i completely agree with the rest of them, tori spelling especially. isn’t she a little young to have that much botox?

Here’s a better question - why the hell is Tori Spelling INVITED to the Emmys? I can’t imagine she’s nominated….was her dad’s seat at the ceremony left to her in his will? Can you bequeath those things?

Where is Rebecca Romijn on this list? Her dress was HIDEOUS! I hadn’t seen all of these awful concotions, however, so thanks for letting me gaze in wonder that someone let Paula Abdul out of the house like that. Horrifying.
