This track is genius. I love that Eminem just lays out all of his personal stuff in his songs, pre-empting anyone who wants to retaliate against him - “if I’m embarrassing me I’m embarrassing you.” It seems like Mariah has a lot more to hide than he does…
Our fave NYC Broadway/pop songwriting pals have teamed up with old schoolmate Matthew Sandoval to record a new, lovely song. Check it out! Awesome!
“It Gets Lonely” by Tom Caruso (music) & Michael Cooper (lyrics)

This is cute if you like a cappella, and I do.

I have to say that THIS is my favorite Les Miserables “Confrontation” clip - It’s David Wain and Paul Rudd performing at one of Wain’s standup performances. Clearly Rudd is a surprise….and a good singer too!

p.s. Also love Paul Rudd’s military coat and weird hat.
You have to watch this. I think it’s circa-1980? Which must make it one of the first, and I’ll maintain one of the greatest, music video’s ever. Click to watch Adam and the Ants sing (and dance around in a weird cape/mask combo with curiously glossy lips) “Stand and Deliver”.

I was talking about this video last night with a group of friends and none of them had seen it, so I figured I’d put it up here.
Johan Lippowitz does a word-by-word miming of Natalie Imbruglia’s song “Torn” that is hilarious. Apparently this gathered something of a following in England, and culminated in Mr. Lippowitz performing his stunt with Ms. Imbruglia in some sort of awards show. See it here on YouTube and definitely make sure you watch til the middle when Natalie joins in!

C’mon girls… You can do better.
Click on the YouTube link to listen to the new Spice Girls single (it’s a boring, nothing-special ballad) “Headlines”:

It’s got the feel of “Mama” without the catchy tune or Princess Diana angle.
